♦Mainapplication
1.Construction industry: withgood thixotropy and adhesive, so that mortar can be pumped. Asbinders in plaster, gypsum material, putty powder or othermaterials, it has the function of thixotropy and coagulation, whichcan improve and extend the operational time of painting. As theadhesion enhancer for bonding tiles, marble, plastic decoration, itcan reduce the dosage of cement. With water retention, it makes theslurry not dry too fast and cracked, increasing the strength afterhardening. |
| 2.Ceramic industry: widely usedas a binder in the manufacture of ceramic products. |
3. Paintindustry: as a thickening agent, dispersing agent and stabilizer inthe paint industry, and have a good compatibility in water ororganic solvents, also can be used in paint remover. |
4.Ink printing: as a thickeningagent, dispersing agent and stabilizer in the printing inkindustry, and have a good compatibility in water or organicsolvents. |
5.Plastic: As forming releaseagent, softening agent, lubricant etc. |
6.PVC: As dispersant in thepolyvinyl chloride production, the main auxiliaries of suspensionpolymerization for preparing PVC. |
7.Others: This product is alsowidely used in leather, paper products, fresh fruits and vegetablesand the textile industry. |
♦Method for dissolution and usage
1.Heating1/3or 2/3of the hot water to85°c add with HPMC, to get hot waterslurry, add with the residual cold water, keep stirring, obtain themixture after cooling. |
2. To makeporridge liquor: firstly, make HPMC into mother liquor with higherconcentration (Methods are same as making above slurry), add withenough cold water and continue to stir until transparent whenuse. |
3. Dry mixeduse: because HPMC has excellent compatibility, which can beconveniently used together with cement, gypsum powder, pigment andfiller dry mixed, and achieve the expected results. |
